Nicolson Cup 2018

There was unbelievable excitement today as children returned to school with BOTH The Nicolson Cup and Shield. The boys were in 2 groups, The Monivea Rams and The Monivea Dolphins. The Monivea Dolphins won their first game, lost the second and won the third while The Monivea Rams lost their first match and won their second and third game. Both Monivea teams met in the Shield Final and both played incredibly well!

Our girls team won against Brierfield, won against Newtown, won against Crumlin and lost against Annagh Hill by one point. They played Brierfield in the cup final and won! All the girls played brilliantly, our 6th class girls played really well and all the girls acted as team captains on the day, they were very gracious to all their opponents, fantastic ambassadors for our school.
